Promo pack

A promo pack is a bundle of files for press, playlists or partners, such as artwork, lyric sheets, audio, video and documents, shared together for one release or campaign.

Also called: press pack, promo kit, promo assets

Who receives promo packs?

Journalists, playlist curators, radio, brand partners and anyone helping promote a release.

What's the risk?

Unreleased audio in a promo pack can leak. Many artists send it as a private stream rather than a downloadable file, and keep track of who opened it.

Example

Before release, a label sends ten music journalists one promo pack with the single, cover art, press photos and lyric sheet.

Doing it with Aulto

Vaulto promo packs use a private, code-verified link: recipients stream the audio and download everything else as one zip, and you see what was downloaded.
