Vaulto

Vaulto is Aulto's private, code-protected way to share unreleased tracks, stems or masters: listeners verify their email with a one-time code, and the link expires when you say.

Also called: private music sharing, private streaming link, secure music link

Why not just send a file?

A file can be forwarded, uploaded and leaked, and you never know who heard it. A Vaulto link streams the music instead, only to the people you sent it to.

How does it work?

You upload a track or build a crate, then send a link or invite people by email. Each listener confirms their email with a one-time code before anything plays. You set when the link expires and can revoke it at any time.

What can you see?

An access log shows who opened a link and when, and reminders nudge people who haven't listened yet.

Example

A producer sends a rough mix to a singer and the label's A&R, sets the link to expire in a week, and sees that both listened the next morning.

Doing it with Aulto

Vaulto is part of Aulto: upload, choose who can listen and for how long, and send.

Common questions

Can people download the file?

Vaulto is built for private listening. The file is streamed and its storage address is not exposed to the listener.
