Common questions
What is Reply Drop?
Reply Drop is Aulto's Instagram comment-to-DM tool. When someone comments your keyword on a post, Aulto sends them a private message with your link.
What do I need to use it?
An Instagram Professional account (Business or Creator) connected to Aulto. Reply Drop is in early access and is switched on per account, so email support@aulosa.com to get it enabled.
How many DMs does each person get?
One per person per post, however many times they comment. Instagram allows one automatic message per comment, within 7 days of it.
Can it work on every post?
Yes. A rule can apply to one post or to every post, including future ones. You can edit or turn off a rule at any time.
Does it follow Instagram's rules?
Yes. Reply Drop uses Instagram's own private-reply messaging through Meta's official API. Aulto's guide at aul.to/meta explains what Meta expects from you.
