Crate

In Vaulto, a crate is a private collection of tracks shared as one link, for collaborators or listeners, with versions kept together.

Also called: Vaulto crate, private playlist, track collection

Why "crate"?

DJs dig through crates of records. A crate in Vaulto is the same idea: a set of tracks that belong together, like an EP in progress or a selection for a curator.

What is a crate good for?

Sending an unreleased EP for feedback, sharing demos with a co-writer, or giving a label all the versions of a song in one place.

Example

An artist puts five demos in a crate, invites their producer and manager, and adds new versions as the songs change.

Doing it with Aulto

Build a crate in Vaulto, invite collaborators and keep every version together.
