Common questions
What is Aulto for creators and brands?
It's a simple Instagram comment-to-DM tool. When someone comments your keyword, Aulto sends them a private message with your link or freebie, can ask for their email first, and saves them as a lead.
Do I need a special Instagram account?
You need an Instagram Professional account, either Business or Creator. It's free to switch in Instagram's settings.
Where do the emails go?
Into your Leads in Aulto. You can export them as a CSV any time, or send them an email from Aulto.
Can I send emails to my leads from Aulto?
Yes. The Emails tab under Leads lets you write and send an update to everyone who signed up.
Does it follow Instagram's rules?
Yes. Aulto uses Instagram's own private-reply messaging through Meta's official API, and the guide at aul.to/meta explains what Meta expects from you.
Is Aulto only for musicians?
No. Aulto started with music, and musicians still get smart links and pre-saves. If you pick creator or brand when you sign up, you only see the tools above.
