Content pillar
Content pillars are the three to five themes an account keeps coming back to, so followers know what to expect and the creator always knows what to post next.
Also called: content pillars, content themes, content buckets
Why have pillars at all?
People follow an account for a reason. Pillars keep you close to that reason, and they make planning easier: each idea fits one of a few buckets instead of starting from a blank page.
What do pillars look like for a musician?
Often something like: the music itself, behind the scenes, life and personality, and fans (reposts, duets, covers). A brand might use product, education, customers and the team.
Can you change them?
Yes. Look at which pillar people watch, save and share most, and give it more room. Drop the ones nobody responds to.
Example
A Kolkata singer-songwriter settles on four pillars: acoustic snippets, songwriting BTS, Kolkata street life and fan covers, and plans each week with one post from each.
