Link pls

"Link pls" is what people comment on a post when they want the link to something they've just seen.

Also called: link please, link?, drop the link

By Aulto · Last reviewed

Why does it matter?

Every "link pls" comment is a person ready to act. If they wait hours for a reply, most move on.

How should you answer it?

Fast and directly. Replying in the comments works for a few people; for many, send the link to their DMs automatically and turn the comment into the keyword itself.

Example

A sneaker reseller posts a restock reel and the comments fill with "link pls". The ones who get the link in minutes are the ones who buy.

Doing it with Aulto

  • Carousel post

A carousel post is an Instagram post with several photos or videos that people swipe through, up to 20 in one post.

  • Close Friends

Close Friends is an Instagram list of people you choose; content shared to it is seen only by them and marked with a green badge.
