Landing page

A landing page is a web page made for one action, like signing up, pre-saving or buying, that people land on from a link, ad or post.

Also called: single-purpose page, campaign page

How is it different from a website homepage?

A homepage offers many paths. A landing page offers one, which makes it far more likely people take it.

What makes a landing page work?

A clear promise that matches the link people tapped, one button, fast loading on a phone and nothing to distract.

How do you know if it works?

Its conversion rate: how many visitors did the one thing.

Example

A workshop's Instagram ad leads to a page with the date, the price, three lines of detail and one Register button.

Doing it with Aulto
