Keyword comment

A keyword comment is a single word you ask people to comment on a post, like SONG or RECIPE, which triggers a reply sent to their DMs.

Also called: comment keyword, comment to get

By Aulto · Last reviewed

How do you choose a keyword?

Short, obvious and related to what they get: PRICE for a product, SONG for music, GUIDE for a download. Avoid words people type anyway, or everyone triggers it by accident.

Does it look spammy?

Not when the thing sent is genuinely useful and arrives instantly. It looks spammy when the reply is slow, missing or a hard sell.

Example

"Comment GUIDE and we'll send you the full setup guide."
